Katakai Festival 1

I took a Joetsu Shinkansen train, Max Toki, to Nagaoka in Niigata on a Friday evening. The only purpose of the trip was to visit Katakai in Ojiya city to see the fabulous fireworks of the festival. I checked in at a hotel, walked to a nearby restaurant, had dinner there, went back to the hotel, waited for some friends to arrive in a vehicle and went to bed. The next day, we were in Katakai before noon.
